Visual Merchandiser

The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for designing and implementing visually appealing displays that enhance the customer shopping experience and promote brand identity. This role combines creativity with strategic planning to maximize product visibility and sales. Working in a retail environment within the UAE, the Visual Merchandiser ensures that all visual presentations align with seasonal themes, brand guidelines, and local cultural sensibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and executing compelling window displays and in-store visual layouts in line with brand identity.

• Collaborating with store and marketing teams to plan seasonal and promotional displays.

• Analyzing store layouts and customer traffic flow to optimize product placement and visibility.

• Ensuring merchandise is presented in a clean, organized, and trend-appropriate manner.

• Training store staff on visual standards and display maintenance.

• Monitoring and replenishing visual display materials and props as needed.

• Conducting regular store visits to assess compliance with visual guidelines and propose improvements.

• Adhering to safety, accessibility, and cultural appropriateness in all visual merchandising activities.

Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Fashion, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or retail sectors within the UAE.

• Strong sense of design, color theory, and spatial planning.

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or SketchUp is an advantage.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Understanding of local consumer preferences and cultural sensitivities in visual presentation.

• Flexibility to travel between store locations and work during non-standard hours, including weekends or early mornings.
