Treasury and Audit Analyst

Job Overview:

The Treasury and Audit Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of treasury operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This position will report directly to the Treasury and Audit Manager and will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the company's financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Perform daily cash management activities, including monitoring bank balances, reconciling bank accounts, and preparing cash reports

- Execute and maintain cash management systems and processes to optimize liquidity and reduce risk

- Prepare and analyze cash flow forecasts to assist in making informed financial decisions

- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies

- Identify and investigate any irregularities or discrepancies and propose corrective actions

- Collaborate with various departments to identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them

- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements

- Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparing documentation and responding to inquiries

- Continuously monitor and improve treasury and audit procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- 2 years of experience in treasury operations and/or internal audit

- Strong understanding of financial systems and processes

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements for the financial services industry
