Site Logistic Manager

As the Site Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall logistics and supply chain operations on our site. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage our logistics team and maintain smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure all materials and equipment are delivered to the site in a timely and cost-effective manner

- Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of all materials and equipment on site, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

- Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid stock shortages and oversupply

- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply chain issues

- Manage transportation and freight schedules to optimize costs and timelines

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines for handling and storing hazardous materials

- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost savings

- Manage and coach logistics team to ensure they are meeting performance expectations

- Create and maintain reports to track logistics and supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement

- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline logistics operations

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field

- 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within a construction or industrial setting

- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures

- Proven track record of managing a team and driving performance

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency in logistics and supply chain software and tools

- Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines for handling hazardous materials

- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors

- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset

- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours if needed
