Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations and ensure accurate reporting for our UAE-based organization. The role plays a key part in maintaining compliance, budgeting, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.

• Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end closing.

• Monitor accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely settlements.

• Assist with external audits, VAT filings, and regulatory compliance.

• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Develop and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.

• Support cash flow forecasting and financial modeling.

• Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping.

• Coordinate with banks, vendors, and internal departments.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE financial regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.

• Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and financial regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).

• Advanced Excel skills and financial analysis capability.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
