Retail Advisory Analyst

We are seeking a data-driven and business-savvy Retail Advisory Analyst to support strategic decision-making for retail development and performance optimization. Based in the UAE, the role involves market research, financial analysis, and client-facing advisory to support retail planning, expansion, and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis on retail trends, consumer behavior, and competitor performance

• Evaluate retail performance metrics including sales density, footfall, and tenant mix efficiency

• Support in the development of retail strategies for malls, high streets, and mixed-use developments

• Assist in feasibility studies, catchment analysis, and benchmarking exercises

• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and investment cases for internal and client use

• Collaborate with leasing, planning, and development teams on layout and zoning strategies

• Analyze client portfolios and recommend improvements for operational or revenue performance

• Monitor and interpret economic and demographic indicators affecting retail markets

• Utilize GIS tools, databases, and analytics platforms for data visualization and insights

• Support senior consultants and management on client projects and business development efforts

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field; Master’s preferred

• 2–4 years of experience in retail consulting, real estate analysis, or commercial strategy

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

• Familiarity with retail KPIs, leasing models, and shopping center operations

• Experience in market research tools and databases (e.g., Euromonitor, Nielsen, or similar)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentations

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage

• UAE or GCC market knowledge highly preferred
