Job Description
Quality Control Inspectors play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the required quality standards before they are sold or distributed. They inspect products and materials at various stages of the production process to identify any defects or deviations from specifications. Quality Control Inspectors use various tools and techniques to conduct thorough inspections and document their findings.
Responsibilities
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
- Conduct visual inspections and use measuring tools and equipment to check dimensions and specifications.
- Perform tests and evaluations to verify product functionality and performance.
- Record and document inspection results and maintain accurate quality control records.
- Identify and report any quality issues or deviations from specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality-related problems.
- Conduct audits and implement corrective actions to prevent quality problems.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in quality control or inspection is preferred.
- Solid understanding of quality control principles and techniques.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and observation skills.
