Mathematics Teacher ( Secondary )

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic faculty team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will inspire students to excel in mathematics, deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards, and contribute positively to the academic and personal development of learners in the secondary school stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver mathematics lessons aligned with the approved curriculum (e.g., British, IB, American, or MoE)

• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to students' diverse learning styles and abilities

• Assess, evaluate, and report on student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation

• Use technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes

• Provide regular feedback to students and parents on academic performance and behavior

• Prepare students for standardized exams and internal assessments

• Participate in school meetings, training, and professional development initiatives

• Collaborate with fellow teachers and department heads on curriculum development and interdisciplinary activities

• Maintain accurate student records in line with school and regulatory requirements

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field; teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.) is mandatory

• Minimum 2–4 years of teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably within the UAE or GCC

• Proven experience with a recognized curriculum (e.g., IGCSE, IB MYP/DP, American Common Core)

• Excellent command of English; bilingual skills (e.g., Arabic) are a plus depending on school requirements

• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for online/blended learning

• Valid UAE teaching license or eligibility preferred (e.g., ADEK, KHDA, MoE)
