Master (Vessel Operations)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the safe navigation and operations of the vessel.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and industry standards.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the ship's crew.
• Monitor and maintain the vessel's equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement voyage plans, taking into consideration weather conditions and other factors.
• Communicate with port authorities, other vessels, and shore-based personnel.
• Manage budgets and resources related to vessel operations.
• Administer emergency response procedures and drills.

• Address any operational issues or challenges as they arise to ensure the smooth running of the vessel.

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies or related field.
• Master Mariner Certificate of Competency (STCW II/2).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Vessel Operations.
• Proficient in navigation systems and marine regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
