Manager- Liabilities

We are seeking a results-driven Manager – Liabilities to oversee the growth and management of liability products, including current, savings, and term deposit accounts. Based in the UAE, the role focuses on developing strategies to drive customer acquisition, optimize portfolio performance, and enhance the overall value proposition of liability products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement liability product strategies to grow CASA and term deposit portfolios

• Drive acquisition of retail and corporate customers through targeted campaigns and partnerships

• Monitor product performance, customer behavior, and market trends to optimize offerings

• Collaborate with marketing, digital, and sales teams to promote liability products

• Ensure pricing, interest rates, and features remain competitive and in line with regulatory guidelines

• Analyze profitability, balances, and churn metrics to improve customer retention

• Provide product training and support to sales and relationship management teams

• Manage product innovation, enhancements, and digital onboarding initiatives

• Coordinate with compliance, legal, and risk teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards

• Prepare performance reports and presentations for senior leadership

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus

• 5–8 years of experience in retail or commercial banking with a focus on liability products

• Deep understanding of the UAE banking landscape, customer segments, and competitive dynamics

• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills

• Experience in product lifecycle management and digital transformation initiatives

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities

• Proficiency in MS Office and banking analytics/reporting tools

• Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage

• UAE experience is essential; knowledge of local regulatory frameworks preferred
