Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced HSE Manager to develop, implement, and oversee health, safety, and environmental policies across our operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations, promote a strong safety culture, and lead risk management initiatives to minimize workplace hazards. This role requires excellent leadership skills to train staff, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvements in safety performance.


Responsibilities:

  • develop and implement hse policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

  • conduct risk assessments and hazard identification to minimize workplace accidents and environmental impacts

  • lead hse audits and inspections to ensure operational compliance and recommend corrective actions

  • provide training and awareness programs on workplace safety, emergency response, and environmental best practices

  • investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports with corrective action plans

  • ensure compliance with local, national, and international hse laws and regulations

  • promote a strong safety culture through leadership, communication, and employee engagement

  • monitor and analyze hse performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities

  • coordinate emergency response plans and drills to enhance readiness for workplace incidents

  • liaise with regulatory bodies, industry groups, and stakeholders to stay updated on hse developments


Requirements:

  • bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field

  • minimum 7 years of experience in hse management, preferably in construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, or industrial sectors

  • in-depth knowledge of hse regulations, risk management, and best practices

  • certifications such as nebosh, iosh, or osha are highly desirable

  • experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis

  • strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence teams at all levels

  • proficiency in hse management systems and reporting tools

  • ability to work in high-risk environments and make critical safety decisions
