Furniture Designer

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Designer to develop innovative furniture concepts, create technical drawings, and oversee the production process. The ideal candidate should have a passion for aesthetics, functionality, and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• design custom and mass-produced furniture pieces based on client requirements and market trends

• create detailed sketches, 3D models, and technical drawings for production

• collaborate with manufacturers, carpenters, and suppliers to ensure quality craftsmanship

• select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for furniture designs

• conduct market research to stay updated on furniture trends and innovations

• ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

• participate in client meetings to understand design preferences and functional needs

• manage project timelines and coordinate with production teams

• develop prototypes and oversee testing of new furniture designs

• present design concepts and modifications to stakeholders

Requirements:

• bachelor’s degree in furniture design, industrial design, or interior design

• 3+ years of experience in furniture design and production

• proficiency in AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, SketchUp, or similar design software

• strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomic design principles

• excellent creativity, visualization, and problem-solving skills

• ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
