Event Production Assistant

The Event Production Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the planning, coordination, and on-site execution of events. This position ensures that all aspects of production, from logistics and setup to tear-down and troubleshooting, run efficiently and on schedule. Ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, this role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. You’ll work closely with the event management and technical teams to bring creative concepts to life and ensure successful event delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in organizing and coordinating event logistics including equipment setup, staging, and venue preparation.

• Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and execution.

• Support audio/visual setup, lighting, and other technical production needs.

• Monitor event schedules and help manage run-of-show activities.

• Troubleshoot issues as they arise during rehearsals and live events.

• Help with crowd control, guest management, and backstage support.

• Maintain production inventory and assist with packing and transportation of event materials.

• Participate in post-event debriefs and help gather feedback for future improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, or related field preferred.

• Previous experience in event production or live event support is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.

• Physically able to lift, carry, and move equipment.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Familiarity with AV equipment and stage production basics is an advantage.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
