Dredging Works Manager

We are seeking an experienced Dredging Works Manager to oversee and manage dredging operations for marine and infrastructure projects. The role involves planning, coordinating, and ensuring the efficient execution of dredging activities while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering, dredging techniques, and project management.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage all dredging operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective project execution.
• Supervise dredging teams, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor and optimize dredging methods, ensuring efficiency and minimal environmental impact.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to dredging and marine construction.
• Oversee maintenance and operational readiness of dredging equipment.
• Prepare project reports, cost estimates, and progress updates.
• Implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols in dredging operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in dredging projects, marine construction, or coastal engineering.
• Strong knowledge of dredging equipment, techniques, and environmental regulations.
• Proven experience in project management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Ability to lead and manage on-site teams effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with software tools for marine and dredging project management.
