Database Administrator (Oracle DBA Middleware Administrator)

Key responsibilities include database design, performance tuning, backup and recovery, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high availability of systems. The successful candidate will also be involved in Middleware setup, configuration, and monitoring to support seamless integration between different systems. Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle databases and middleware applications.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, including tuning queries, indexes, and server parameters.
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database and application-related issues in a timely manner.
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard data integrity.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database and middleware configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to support application development and deployment.
• Conduct regular health checks and performance assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Assist in capacity planning and scalability efforts to support business growth and evolving technology needs.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continually enhance database and middleware administration skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certification in Oracle Database Administration or Middleware Administration.
• Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and other database query languages.
• Experience working with Oracle Database technology, Middleware systems, and related tools.
