BIM Architect

The BIM Architect will be responsible for utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to create and manage architectural designs and construction documents. This includes collaborating with other members of the design team, analyzing project requirements, and ensuring accuracy and coordination in the BIM models. The successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of BIM software and workflows, as well as strong problem-solving and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM strategies and workflows for architectural projects
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements
• Create and manage BIM models, including architectural, structural, and MEP systems
• Ensure accuracy and coordination between different disciplines in the BIM models
• Analyze and resolve design conflicts and constructability issues in the BIM environment
• Generate construction documents, such as plans, sections, and elevations, from the BIM models
• Perform clash detection and coordination of architectural elements with other disciplines
• Conduct BIM coordination meetings and communicate effectively with project team members
• Provide training and support to team members on BIM software and workflows
• Stay updated with emerging BIM technologies and industry best practices
