Auto Mechanic

The Auto Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires expertise in engine diagnostics, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Responsibilities:

• inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles

• perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake servicing, and tire rotations

• repair or replace faulty parts such as engines, transmissions, and fuel systems

• conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with regulations

• use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions

• test drive vehicles to assess performance and verify repairs

• document repair work, parts used, and labor costs for accurate records

• ensure tools and equipment are maintained and in good working condition

• provide recommendations to customers on necessary repairs and maintenance

• adhere to safety standards and best practices in the workshop

Requirements:

• diploma or certification in automotive technology or a related field

• proven experience as an auto mechanic or in a similar role

• strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures

• proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and repair equipment

• ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

• excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• good communication skills to explain repair needs to customers

• valid UAE driving license is a plus
