Economics Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Economics Teacher to join our educational institution. As an Economics Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering comprehensive lectures, and evaluating student performance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of economic theories, principles, and current trends, and a strong ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students of varying levels. The Economics Teacher should also have experience in developing curriculum, conducting assessments, and providing constructive feedback to support student learning and growth. A bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field is required, along with relevant teaching experience preferably at the high school or college level. Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning and engage students in the study of economics
• Teach courses in economics to students using a variety of instructional methods
• Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers
• Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate and graduate students on topics such as econometrics, microeconomics, and macroeconomics
• Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records
• Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions
• Keep abreast of new trends and developments in the field of economics
• Provide mentorship and support to students outside of the classroom
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and other activities related to the teaching of economics
• Stay current on educational best practices and continuously improve teaching methods for better student outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field
