Computer Science Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Computer Science Teacher to educate students in various aspects of computer science, programming, and technology. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and be able to inspire students to develop their skills in computing and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons on topics such as programming, algorithms, data structures, cybersecurity, and software development.
• Teach students the fundamentals of coding languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
• Guide students in practical projects, coding exercises, and hands-on learning activities.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in computer science to incorporate into teaching.
• Evaluate and assess student performance through assignments, projects, and exams.
• Provide mentorship and support to students, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain a positive and interactive learning environment in the classroom.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the curriculum and integrate technology into other subjects.
• Organize and oversee coding clubs, competitions, and extracurricular activities related to computer science.
• Ensure that all lessons comply with educational standards and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Teaching certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proven experience in teaching computer science at the school or college level.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, computer networks, databases, and software development.
• Experience with teaching tools, coding platforms, and educational technology.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons to cater to different learning styles and student abilities.
