Welding Supervisor

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Supervisor to join our team. The Welding Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of welding personnel, ensuring that all welding operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to established standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques and procedures, as well as experience in supervising and training welding staff. Duties will include monitoring work progress, inspecting completed work for quality and compliance, maintaining welding equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The Welding Supervisor will also be responsible for scheduling work assignments, maintaining records, and communicating with management and other departments as needed. Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee welding operations to ensure they are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Provide guidance and training to welding personnel to maintain high quality standards.
• Inspect workpieces and ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule projects and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain accurate records of work activities, including materials used and time spent on projects.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and procedures in the welding area.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during welding processes.
• Order and maintain inventory of welding supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to review project plans and provide input on welding requirements.
• Conduct performance evaluations of welding staff and provide feedback for improvement.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified welding inspector (CWI) qualification
• Extensive experience in welding processes and techniques
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of welding safety regulations and procedures
