Job Description
The wedding planner is responsible for organizing and coordinating all aspects of a wedding ceremony and reception. They work closely with clients to understand their vision and execute it within their budget. This job requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and a creative mind.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to discuss wedding themes, budget, and requirements.
- Source and negotiate with vendors for wedding services such as venues, caterers, and photographers.
- Create detailed wedding plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate and oversee all wedding activities, including rehearsal, ceremony, and reception.
- Assist with wedding design, including decor, floral arrangements, and overall aesthetics.
- Manage RSVPs, invitations, and guest lists.
- Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the wedding planning process.
- Handle any emergency situations or last-minute changes during the wedding.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.
- Valid state license to practice optometry.
- Completion of a residency or specialized training is preferred.
- Knowledge of eye anatomy, refractive conditions, and eye diseases.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
