Warehouse Supervisor (FMCG)

We are looking for a highly organized Warehouse Supervisor (FMCG) to oversee the daily operations of a fast-moving consumer goods warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory management, staff supervision, and ensuring the smooth movement of goods while maintaining high efficiency and accuracy. This role requires experience in handling FMCG products, optimizing warehouse space, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of logistics operations are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

• supervise warehouse activities, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of FMCG products

• manage and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and company policies

• maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and minimize losses

• coordinate with suppliers, transport teams, and sales departments to streamline order fulfillment

• implement warehouse best practices to improve workflow, reduce errors, and enhance productivity

• oversee loading and unloading operations, ensuring goods are handled properly and in a timely manner

• ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations for warehouse operations

• monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring functionality and timely repairs

• prepare reports on warehouse performance, including stock movement, damages, and staff efficiency

• support in cost control measures by optimizing warehouse space and reducing waste

Requirements:

• bachelor’s degree or diploma in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field

• minimum 4-6 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the FMCG sector

• strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse best practices

• leadership and team management skills to effectively oversee warehouse staff

• excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities to manage a fast-paced work environment

• experience in handling perishable and non-perishable FMCG products is a plus

• proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office applications

• ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required

• forklift operation certification is an advantage
