Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a warehouse, including inventory management, shipments, and warehouse staff. They manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring accurate inventory records and efficient workflow. The Warehouse Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining a well-organized and productive warehouse environment while prioritizing accuracy, efficiency, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring accurate inventory records and timely order fulfillment.
• Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Develop and implement warehouse procedures, policies, and guidelines to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor and control inventory levels, conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock and replenishment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, conducting regular safety inspections and promoting a safety-first culture.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize storage capacity and streamline workflow.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, operations, and sales, to coordinate warehouse activities and meet customer demands.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, shipments, and order fulfillment processes.
• Analyze warehouse data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role, with a strong track record of successful warehouse operations.
• Excellent knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control principles, and logistics processes.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often requiring manual handling of goods.
