The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a warehouse, including inventory management, shipments, and warehouse staff. They manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring accurate inventory records and efficient workflow. Responsibilities
Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring accurate inventory records and timely order fulfillment.
Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
Develop and implement warehouse procedures, policies, and guidelines to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Monitor and control inventory levels, conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies.
Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock and replenishment
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, conducting regular safety inspections and promoting a safety-first culture.
Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize storage capacity and streamline workflow.
Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, operations, and sales, to coordinate warehouse activities and meet customer demands.
Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, shipments, and order fulfillment processes.
Analyze warehouse data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role, with a strong track record of successful warehouse operations.
Excellent knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control principles, and logistics processes.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often requiring manual handling of goods.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
