Visual Merchandiser Associate - Furniture

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser Associate specializing in furniture to enhance the in-store and showroom experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing attractive displays, ensuring visual consistency, and implementing merchandising strategies to drive sales.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement visually appealing furniture displays that align with brand guidelines and enhance the customer experience.
• Ensure proper placement of furniture, accessories, and décor to optimize space and improve store aesthetics.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create seasonal and promotional displays.
• Monitor store layouts and adjust displays based on sales performance and customer feedback.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of showroom areas, ensuring all displays are well-maintained and up to date.
• Stay updated on furniture trends and competitor merchandising strategies to bring innovative ideas to the store.
• Assist in training store staff on visual merchandising best practices.
• Work closely with inventory and operations teams to manage stock levels for display pieces.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in visual merchandising, preferably in a furniture or home décor retail setting.
• Strong creativity and design sense, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Knowledge of space planning, color schemes, and furniture arrangement techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or SketchUp is a plus.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
