Job Description

As a Visual Merchandiser Associate for Furniture, you will play a key role in creating visually appealing displays to showcase our furniture products in retail settings. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing visual merchandising strategies to attract customers, drive sales, and enhance the overall shopping experience. You will collaborate with the merchandising team to set up displays, arrange furniture pieces in an aesthetically pleasing manner, and ensure that the presentation meets brand standards. Additionally, you will monitor and maintain the displays, making necessary adjustments to optimize product visibility and highlight key features. The ideal candidate will have a creative eye for design, a passion for furniture, and a strong understanding of current trends in the industry. Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating visually appealing furniture displays in accordance with company guidelines and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser to set up furniture displays that enhance the overall store aesthetic and highlight product features.
  • Ensure all furniture products are arranged in an organized and easy-to-navigate manner for customers.
  • Monitor furniture inventory levels and communicate any restocking needs to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the furniture display areas to provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Assist customers with inquiries about furniture products, providing detailed information and product knowledge as needed.
  • Support in the execution of seasonal furniture promotions and events, including setting up promotional displays and signage.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer preferences and feedback on furniture displays.
  • Stay updated on current furniture trends and competitor offerings to make recommendations for enhancing the visual merchandising strategy.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when handling and displaying furniture products to prevent any accidents or damage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Design, or related field.
  • Prior experience in visual merchandising, preferably within the furniture industry.
  • Strong eye for design, color, and spatial arrangement.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
