Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our team. The Veterinary Nurse will assist veterinary staff in providing care and treatment to animals. Responsibilities include monitoring and caring for animals post-surgery, administering medication, assisting with diagnostic tests, and maintaining medical records. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and compassion for all creatures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to animals under the supervision of veterinarians
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed
• Assist in performing diagnostic tests and procedures
• Assist veterinarians in examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
• Perform laboratory tests and analyze samples.
• Handle animals with care, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Monitor animal vital signs and provide post-operative care.
• Educate pet owners on proper nutrition, medication, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient confidentiality.

Candidate Requirements:

• Associate degree in Veterinary Technology
• Certification as a Veterinary Nurse
• Prior experience working with animals in a veterinary setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
