Used Car Purchaser

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Used Car Purchaser to join our automotive retail team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, negotiating, and acquiring pre-owned vehicles from individual sellers, trade-ins, or auction platforms to meet inventory needs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate the condition, market value, and resale potential of used vehicles.

• Negotiate competitive purchase prices with sellers and trade-in customers.

• Coordinate with the sales and inventory team to identify car stock requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of vehicle purchases and documentation.

• Monitor local and regional market trends to optimize vehicle sourcing strategies.

• Ensure compliance with legal and company policies during acquisitions.

• Manage relationships with auction houses, leasing firms, and individual sellers.

• Conduct vehicle background checks and verify ownership history.

• Support appraisal processes and provide pricing guidance to sales teams.

• Ensure vehicles meet brand standards and prepare for resale when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Automotive Management, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in used car purchasing or appraisal.

• Strong negotiation, valuation, and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of vehicle inspection procedures and resale pricing.

• Proficiency in automotive inventory systems and MS Office.

• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.

• Familiarity with UAE used car market trends and vehicle regulations.

• Customer service mindset and attention to detail.
