Job Description
As an Upholstery Tailor, you will be responsible for creating, repairing, and customizing upholstered furniture. You will work with a variety of fabrics and materials to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. This role requires excellent sewing skills, precision cutting abilities, and a keen eye for design.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut fabric to fit furniture pieces
- Sew and hand-stitch upholstery materials
- Repair and restore damaged furniture
- Create custom designs and patterns
- Ensure quality control and customer satisfaction
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as an upholstery tailor
- Proficient in sewing and pattern-making
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
