Transportation Manager

We are looking for an experienced Transportation Manager to oversee and manage our company’s transportation operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing logistics, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing a team of drivers and logistics staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee daily transportation operations, including fleet management, route planning, and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Monitor and analyze transportation performance metrics and implement improvements.
• Manage and supervise a team of drivers, dispatchers, and logistics personnel.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, vehicle maintenance, and fuel consumption.
• Handle transportation-related issues, such as delays, damages, and customer complaints.
• Implement safety protocols and conduct regular training sessions for drivers and logistics staff.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in transportation and logistics.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in transportation management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, fleet management, and logistics software.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with various teams effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, logistics software, and fleet management tools.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
