Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Ensure proper operation of temperature control systems by performing routine maintenance.
• Test and balance HVAC systems to optimize performance and energy efficiency.
• Respond to service calls to diagnose and resolve issues with temperature control systems.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to coordinate work orders and repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used for documentation purposes.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in HVAC systems.
• Provide recommendations for system improvements and upgrades to enhance efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on temperature control systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of HVAC technical training program or apprenticeship
• EPA 608 Universal Certification for handling refrigerants
• State HVAC license or certification, if applicable
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and troubleshooting techniques
