Job Description

The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers and internal stakeholders. They will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, as well as provide guidance on product usage. This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.


Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or chat.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Record and track customer interactions and issue resolution in the ticketing system.
  • Provide guidance and training to customers on product usage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product functionality and usability.
  • Stay updated with product knowledge and participate in ongoing training.
  • Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles and technical documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in technical support or help desk roles.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
