Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Technical Advisor – Automotive to provide expert guidance and technical support to customers and workshop staff. The role involves diagnosing vehicle issues, explaining repairs to customers, and ensuring high levels of service quality and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, in-depth technical knowledge of vehicles, and hands-on experience in the automotive industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and workshop teams.

  • Assess and diagnose vehicle problems in collaboration with technicians.

  • Explain repair procedures, timelines, and cost estimates to customers.

  • Review service orders and ensure all technical issues are addressed accurately.

  • Conduct road tests and pre-delivery inspections when necessary.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety and service quality standards.

  • Support workshop technicians with troubleshooting and advanced diagnostics.

  • Maintain detailed records of service history and customer feedback.

  • Recommend additional services or maintenance based on vehicle condition.

  • Stay up to date on manufacturer guidelines, recalls, and technical bulletins.


Requirements:

    • Diploma or degree in Automotive Engineering or a related field.
    • Automotive experience.
    • Indepth technical skills.
    • Experience with service and maintenance in the workshop.
    • 3–5 years of experience in a technical advisory or workshop service role.
    • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and service software.

    • Ability to explain complex technical information clearly to non-technical clients.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Customer management experience and communication skills.

    • Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
