Teacher - Business Studies

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons in business concepts, including entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, management, and economics. The role requires a passion for teaching, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to inspire students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the business world.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver interactive and engaging Business Studies lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Teach key business topics such as marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, business ethics, and management principles.
• Utilize a variety of instructional methods, including case studies, real-world business examples, and technology-enhanced learning.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, presentations, and projects.
• Provide constructive feedback and support students in their academic growth.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving by incorporating real-world business scenarios.
• Stay updated with the latest business trends, economic developments, and technological advancements.
• Develop lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Maintain discipline in the classroom and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular activities related to business and entrepreneurship.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or qualification (B.Ed., or equivalent).
• Previous teaching experience in Business Studies at the secondary or post-secondary level is preferred.
• Strong understanding of business principles and ability to relate them to real-world applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for teaching.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset.
