As a Support & Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of various systems and equipment. Your responsibilities will include responding to technical issues, troubleshooting problems, conducting routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. You will work closely with other team members to provide technical support to clients, and you will need to have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering or a related field, with experience in maintenance and support roles. Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve technical issues reported by clients or internal teams in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware systems.
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as software updates, backups, and security checks.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of systems.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and solutions applied.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively utilize system functionalities.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new technology solutions.
  • Conduct regular performance monitoring and analysis to proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to IT support and maintenance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to continuously improve support and maintenance practices.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certification such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (such as Windows, Linux) and networking concepts.
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
