Job Description

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of goods, materials, and information within the supply chain to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role involves coordinating procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, experience in supply chain operations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments to enhance overall business performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and optimize efficiency.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain strong relationships.

  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stock shortages and excess inventory.

  • Work closely with logistics teams to streamline transportation and distribution processes.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and sustainability initiatives.

  • Manage supply chain risks by identifying potential disruptions and developing contingency plans.

  • Support cost-reduction initiatives by negotiating supplier contracts and improving procurement processes.

  • Implement and maintain supply chain software and digital tools for improved visibility and tracking.

  • Provide reports and insights to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management or a related role.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, and inventory management principles.

  • Experience working with supply chain management software (ERP, SAP, or similar).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize supply chain performance.

  • Ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple priorities.

  • Familiarity with international trade regulations and logistics best practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
