Supply Chain Management Specialist

The Supply Chain Management Specialist is responsible for optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficient procurement, production planning, inventory control, logistics, and distribution activities. This role is key in supporting business operations by improving supply chain performance, minimizing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment, the specialist coordinates with suppliers, internal departments, and logistics providers while adhering to UAE regulatory standards and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals and market demands.

• Monitoring procurement, inventory, and logistics activities to ensure operational efficiency and service quality.

• Collaborating with suppliers to negotiate contracts, delivery terms, and ensure consistent product availability.

• Analyzing supply chain data to identify areas for cost reduction, improved lead times, and risk mitigation.

• Coordinating with production and planning teams to align material availability with project timelines.

• Managing inventory levels by tracking stock movements, forecasting demand, and avoiding overstocking or shortages.

• Ensuring compliance with UAE import/export regulations, customs requirements, and trade documentation.

• Utilizing ERP systems to maintain accurate supply chain records and generate performance reports.

• Conducting supplier audits and performance evaluations to maintain quality and reliability standards.

• Leading or supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain network.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics management, preferably within the UAE.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and best practices.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain tools; experience with SAP or Oracle is preferred.

• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Knowledge of UAE logistics, customs regulations, and vendor compliance standards.
