Job Description

As a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and enhancing the efficiency of supply chain processes within the organization. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and designing supply chain strategies, monitoring the flow of goods and materials, and identifying areas for improvement. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure timely delivery of products, minimize costs, and maintain high-quality standards. Additionally, you will be involved in evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and implementing best practices to streamline operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain concepts, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to adapt to changing market trends. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field is typically required for this role.


Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and improving supply chain processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and developing strategies to minimize excess stock.
  • Implementing supply chain best practices to enhance overall logistics operations.
  • Conducting supplier performance evaluations and negotiations for contract renewals.
  • Utilizing data analytics and technology tools to forecast demand and track shipments.
  • Resolving supply chain issues and implementing corrective actions to prevent future disruptions.
  • Providing regular reports on supply chain performance metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
  • Staying current on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or procurement.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and logistics.
  • Proficiency in utilizing supply chain management software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
