Stock Controller

The Stock Controller is responsible for managing inventory levels to ensure the right amount of stock is available at all times. This includes monitoring stock movements, conducting regular stock checks, forecasting demand, and minimizing stock discrepancies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining optimal stock levels, reducing waste, and supporting efficient operations across the supply chain.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability.

• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical and recorded stock.

• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, transfers, and adjustments.

• Work closely with purchasing and warehouse teams to coordinate stock replenishment.

• Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and seasonal demands.

• Implement inventory control procedures to reduce waste, shrinkage, and obsolescence.

• Generate inventory reports and provide insights to management for decision-making.

• Ensure stock is stored and organized according to company standards and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

• Proven experience in inventory or stock control, preferably in a retail or warehouse environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of inventory best practices and stock rotation principles.
