Job Description

The Stock Controller will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process within the organization. They will monitor stock levels, coordinate stock movements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory replenishment. The Stock Controller will also conduct regular stock audits and analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the inventory management system.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate stock movements to ensure adequate inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory replenishment.
  • Conduct regular stock audits to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Analyze stock data and generate reports on stock levels and inventory performance.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize stock holding costs.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate stock recording and proper storage.
  • Communicate with suppliers and negotiate terms to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential stock shortages or excesses.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in inventory management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control techniques and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
