Staff Nurse - Surgical Clinic

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Staff Nurse to join our Surgical Clinic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and recovery. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation.
• Prepare surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to any complications or emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and report any concerns to the medical team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid nursing license and certification from the relevant health authority.
• Experience in a surgical clinic, operating room, or related healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of pre- and post-operative care procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations with confidence and professionalism.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
