Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Pediatric Clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality care to pediatric patients, including infants, children, and adolescents. Duties include conducting assessments, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans. The Staff Nurse will also educate patients and families on health maintenance and preventive care practices. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a nurturing attitude are essential for success in this role. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and current RN license are required. Responsibilities

  • Perform pediatric assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and developmental screenings.
  • Administer pediatric vaccinations and medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Educate caregivers on child health and wellness, including nutrition, growth and development, and injury prevention.
  • Assist healthcare providers in pediatric procedures and treatments, such as wound care and specimen collection.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, including symptoms, treatments, and responses to interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean clinic environment.
  • Respond to pediatric emergencies and provide prompt and appropriate interventions.
  • Provide emotional support to pediatric patients and their families during challenging times.
  • Stay updated on pediatric healthcare best practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
