Spray Painter (Automotive)

We are looking for a skilled Spray Painter (Automotive) to join our team and deliver high-quality paint finishes on vehicles. Based in the UAE, this role is responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying coatings that meet safety and aesthetic standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming before painting

• Mix and match automotive paints to achieve precise color tones and finishes

• Operate spray guns and other painting equipment to apply paint evenly and professionally

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including proper ventilation and use of protective gear

• Inspect painted surfaces for quality, correcting defects such as runs, sags, or thin spots

• Maintain and clean tools, spray booths, and painting areas regularly

• Collaborate with body technicians and estimators to understand job scope and requirements

• Follow work orders and complete jobs within specified timelines

• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

• Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations

  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in auto refinishing is a plus

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as an automotive spray painter

• Strong knowledge of paint mixing, surface preparation, and refinishing techniques

• Experience with both water-based and solvent-based paint systems

• Familiarity with spray booth operations and safety standards

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks and long hours standing

• Basic communication skills in English; other languages are a plus

• UAE/GCC experience preferred
