Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Specialist in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing specialized medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in critical conditions, including those in intensive care or post-operative recovery. Responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to plan patient care, monitoring patients' progress, and performing advanced procedures such as intubation and ventilation. The successful candidate must have a strong background in pediatric critical care medicine, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage high-stress situations. A valid medical license and board certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine are required for this position.


Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced medical care for critically ill pediatric patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for pediatric patients in critical condition.
  • Monitor and manage ventilator support for pediatric patients.
  • Administer specialized medications and interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic care for patients.
  • Participate in rounds, case conferences, and educational activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to families of pediatric patients in critical care.
  • Stay updated with current guidelines and best practices in pediatric critical care medicine.
  • Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient environment for pediatric patients in critical condition.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent medical degree
  • Board certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
  • Completion of fellowship training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
  • Active medical license in the state of practice
  • Demonstrated proficiency in pediatric critical care procedures and protocols
