Software Tester

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests on software applications to ensure they meet quality standards. The Software Tester will collaborate closely with software developers to identify bugs and issues in the code, as well as develop test cases and test plans to validate software functionality. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices, as well as experience with test automation tools. Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Execute test cases and report defects found during testing.
• Conduct manual and automated functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high software quality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and provide input during sprint planning and review meetings.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify software defects and areas of improvement.
• Document testing procedures and results for reference and analysis.
• Work closely with developers to understand technical requirements and resolve issues.
• Provide feedback on user experience and suggest enhancements to improve product quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices related to software testing.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and techniques.
• Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are preferred.
• Good knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or HP Quality Center.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
