We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Software Technical Support to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers and resolving software-related issues in a timely and efficient manner. This role will involve understanding customer requirements, troubleshooting software problems, documenting issues and solutions, and escalating complex issues to the development team when necessary. The Software Technical Support will also be involved in testing software updates and enhancements, as well as providing training and guidance to customers on how to use our software effectively. The successful candidate must have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. Responsibilities

  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support to customers experiencing software-related issues.
  • Guide customers through software installation, configuration, and setup processes.
  • Diagnose and resolve software bugs, errors, and problems reported by customers.
  • Collaborate with the development team to escalate and prioritize critical issues for resolution.
  • Document support interactions, solutions, and resolutions for future reference.
  • Conduct software testing to identify and replicate reported issues for troubleshooting.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on issue resolution progress.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and FAQs for common software issues.
  • Assist in training internal team members on software functionality and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date on product updates, new features, and best practices to better assist customers.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and providing technical support to customers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a similar technical support role is preferred.
