Software Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of software development projects within budget and on schedule. The Software Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate project expectations to stakeholders, and ensure the quality of deliverables. Key responsibilities include defining project scope, creating project plans, allocating resources, managing project risks, and monitoring progress. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development methodologies, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex software projects. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budget forecasts for software development projects
• Lead a team of software developers, testers, and other project personnel to ensure timely and successful project delivery
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including executives, team members, and clients
• Manage and mitigate project risks by identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project scope, requirements, and deliverables
• Monitor project progress and track key performance indicators to evaluate project success and make data-driven decisions
• Ensure compliance with project management best practices and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct regular meetings with team members to provide guidance, support, and feedback on project tasks and milestones
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, provide project updates, and obtain feedback on project deliverables
• Continuously improve project management processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and quality of project outcomes

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a software project manager or relevant role.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
