Job Description
The Social Media Executive is responsible for creating and managing the social media presence of a company or brand. They develop social media strategies, create engaging content, and track performance metrics to optimize social media campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
- Create and curate compelling content for social media platforms, including text, image, and video content.
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop and execute social media campaigns.
- Analyze social media data and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns and budgets.
- Monitor competitor social media activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in social media algorithms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Proficient in using major social media platforms and third-party social media management tools.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and metrics.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and content marketing.
- Creative mindset with an eye for visual design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
