Job Description
A Shopify Developer specializes in building, customizing, and maintaining e-commerce websites using the Shopify platform. They work closely with clients, designers, and project managers to create visually appealing and functional online stores. Shopify Developers implement various themes, plugins, and features to enhance the user experience and optimize website performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Shopify-based e-commerce websites.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Implement and configure Shopify themes, templates, and plugins.
- Optimize website performance and user experience using front-end development techniques.
- Integrate third-party systems, such as payment gateways or inventory management systems.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues related to website functionality or performance.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure a visually appealing and user-friendly interface.
- Ensure websites are responsive and compatible with various devices and browsers.
- Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, plugins, and best practices.
- Provide assistance and support to clients post-website launch.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
- Experience in developing and customizing Shopify-based websites.
- Familiarity with Shopify APIs and app development.
- Understanding of front-end optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
