Service Technician - ELV

The Service Technician - ELV is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ELV systems, including fire alarms, security systems, CCTV, and access control. They perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure ELV systems, including fire alarms, security systems, CCTV, and access control.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure the proper functioning of ELV systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions or failures, and implement appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to plan and execute system installations and upgrades.
• Conduct tests and create detailed reports to document system performance and compliance with regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and best practices in ELV systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards during all service operations.
• Provide training and guidance to clients on the proper use and maintenance of ELV systems.

• Diploma or degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role, preferably within the ELV industry.
• Strong knowledge of ELV systems, including fire alarms, security systems, CCTV, and access control.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
