The service coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing service requests, scheduling appointments, and ensuring efficient communication between customers and service teams. This role involves handling inquiries, tracking service progress, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. They will work closely with technicians, clients, and internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and timely resolution of customer concerns.
Responsibilities:
coordinate and schedule service appointments for clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries
act as a liaison between customers, service teams, and management to facilitate smooth communication
monitor service requests and ensure all jobs are completed within the required timeframe
maintain accurate records of service activities, customer interactions, and work orders
handle customer complaints and escalations, providing effective solutions and follow-ups
assist in developing and implementing service process improvements to enhance efficiency
track inventory levels of necessary equipment and parts required for service requests
prepare and generate reports on service performance metrics and customer feedback
support the service team by providing necessary documentation and resources
ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all service-related activities
Requirements:
bachelor’s degree in business administration, customer service, or a related field
minimum 3 years of experience in a service coordination or customer service role
strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to handle client interactions effectively
proficiency in ms office and service management software
ability to work under pressure and manage multiple service requests simultaneously
problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing customer concerns
experience in a technical or service-oriented industry is a plus
